The Problem

Fakes were killing trust

Beauty Check distributes 18 international beauty brands in Iraq — a market flooded with counterfeits that look identical to the real thing and sell for less.

Customers burned by fakes blamed the brands, not the counterfeiters. Retailers couldn't prove their stock was genuine, and official sales kept leaking to gray-market sellers.

There was no verification system in the market — no tool that could answer the one question every buyer had: is this real?

No app to download, no account to create. If verification takes more than a few seconds, customers won't do it — so we built the entire flow around one scan and one code, and made every code impossible to reuse.
