We came in with an aging system and a vague idea of 'rebuild it.' We walked out with the full picture — the design, the cost, and the plan.

The Problem

Rebuild or patch? Nobody knew.

Nouvelife sells beauty and wellness products online — but their existing system was built for a desktop era, and the mobile experience their customers now expect was an afterthought.

They knew something had to change. What they didn't know: whether to rebuild or keep patching, what a rebuild would cost, and whether their data could safely migrate.

Committing to a rebuild blind risks the budget. Waiting risks the business. They needed evidence before either move.

LEGACY

Built for another era

The existing platform couldn't carry the brand forward — dated UX, desktop-first architecture, mobile as an afterthought.

0MOBILE-FIRST FLOWS
RISK

Two paths, no data

Rebuild blind and risk the budget, or patch forever and fall behind — with no analysis to choose by.

?REBUILD COST UNKNOWN
CLARITY

No plan on the table

Features, migration feasibility, cost, timeline — every input for the decision was missing.

Our Approach

Decide with evidence.
Design before you build.

Discovery exists to de-risk the expensive part. Before anyone writes production code, Nouvelife should see exactly what they're buying: what's feasible, what it costs, what it looks like — down to every screen.

Principle 01

Feasibility first

Audit the existing system and migration paths before proposing anything — recommendations grounded in what's actually there.

Principle 02

Scope in features, not vibes

Five new features specified and phased — a backlog a build team can start on, not a wishlist.

Principle 03

Show, don't describe

220+ designed screens — the client approves the actual product experience, not a document about it.

What We Delivered
